
Central Shariah Board for Islamic Banks of Bangladesh held its 52 meeting of the fiqh committee.
The meeting was held on Monday at the Central Shariah Board secretariat in the capital Dhaka.
Fiqh committee chairman Sayed Kamaluddin Zafree presided over the meeting, while the secretary general Md Abdullah Sharif conducted it.
Shariah supervisory committee chairman of First Security Islami Bank Mufti Sayeed Ahmad Mujaddedi, Union Bank chairman Md Farid Uddin Ahmed, among others, was present in the meeting.
The meeting discussed important issues including Shariah aspects of Islamic foreign exchange forwards, cash waqfs, and defaulted investments.
