Al-Arafah Islami Bank PLC on Sunday provided a check for Tk 10 lakh for construction of a data analytics and service centre at the Department of Statistics of Dhaka University, said a press release.
AIBPLC managing director (current charge) Mohd Rafat Ullah Khan handed over the cheque to DU vice-chancellor Niaz Ahmed Khan at a ceremony held at DU premises in the capital Dhaka on the day.
Among others, AIBPLC deputy managing directors Md Abdullah Al Mamun, SM Abu Zafar, senior executive vice-president Habib Ullah and executive vice-president Jalal Ahmed were present.
