The United States-based Axiom Reach Foundation founder and president Hafiz Sikder has recently visited Bangladesh and met with young patients and their families.

He has also reaffirmed Axiom鈥檚 commitment to their treatment journey, said a press release on Saturday.

Hafiz Sikder has visited partner hospitals, including Ahsania Mission Cancer and General Hospital, Thalassemia Samity Hospital, Ahmed Medical Centre, Alok Nibash and Bangladesh Shishu Hospital and Institute, and witnessed the resilience of young patients in their fight against these life-threatening diseases.

The foundation, headquartered in New Jersey in the United States, has announced progress in its Children鈥檚 Cancer Fund initiative, which supports paediatric patients in Bangladesh battling cancers such as Leukaemia, Lymphoma, and Sarcoma, as well as blood disorders like Thalassemia and Aplastic Anaemia.

Since its launch, the foundation鈥檚 CCF has provided essential treatment support to over 70 children, ensuring access to critical care for those in need.

Through partnerships with nine local hospitals and numerous physicians, Axiom鈥檚 CCF initiative is advancing paediatric care by providing vital support for chemotherapy, blood transfusions, bone marrow transplants, and rare disease therapies.

In appreciation of the dedicated physicians supporting these children, Axiom hosted a special dinner, where Sikder personally thanked the attending doctors for their dedication and care.

Axiom REACH Foundation is a non-profit organisation, focusing on cancer and rare disease treatment through targeted support programmes.
