Bangla Academy director general Professor Dr Md Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari resigned from his post on Saturday.
The news was informed in a facebook post of Bangla Academy on the day.
Professor Askari was appointed as the director general of Bangla Academy on July 18, 2024 for a term of three years.
