Young artists Azyz Sharafy and Moinul Zaber have displayed AI artworks which promote environmental awareness and reimagine rickshaws in the exhibition titled ‘Facialescape’ under way at the Zainul Gallery of Dhaka University.

Azyz Sharafy and Moinul Zaber have used advanced image processing and Al to depict their subjects.


Azyz Sharafy has displayed two-dimensional and three-dimensional artworks created with artificial intelligence depicting rickshaws of different designs celebrating rural motifs and traditions under the series titled ‘A Visual Diary of Rickshaws in the Age of AI’.

Moinul Zaber raises environmental awareness by creating passports, which gives the audience a glimpse into electricity consumption, wind speed, temperature, water consumption, water, sound and food pollution in different parts of the country.

The exhibition, which was inaugurated on May 25, will end on June 6.
