Ruling Awami League鈥檚 central executive committee鈥檚 information and research secretary Selim Mahmud has been nominated to observe India鈥檚 Lok Sabha Election 2024 on invitation from the Bharatiya Janata Party.
Confirming the matter, AL鈥檚 deputy office secretary Sayem Khan told 抖阴精品 that the party nominated its central leader Selim Mahmud to oversee the BJP鈥檚 election preparedness and campaign from May 1 to May 5.聽
He said that Selim Mahmud had already left Bangladesh for India to oversee the election.
According to AL central leaders, the India鈥檚 national election is being held in different provinces in seven phases and BJP had invited some foreign political parties to oversee its overall preparedness and campaign. BJP had invited only AL from Bangladesh.
BJP had requested to nominate one AL leader as the party representative.
The AL representative Selim is scheduled to oversee BJP鈥檚 election campaign and preparedness in Delhi and Chhattisgarh state.
India鈥檚 election began on April 19 and will continue till June 1. The result of the vote will announce on June 4.
