Leaders of Rastra Sanskar Andolan, on Friday at a joining programme in Dhaka, said that their party would work for restoration of democratic rule in the country.

The party held a joining programme at Dhaka Reporters Unity where its chief coordinator Hasnat Quaiyum said that Awami League government had introduced fascist rule, seizing voting rights of the people.


‘We will work for restoration of voting rights of the people and introduce such a democratic rule in the country, where people will enjoy their basic rights,’ he added.

More than 25 politicians, academics, social workers and professionals from across the country, former member secretary of Bhashani Onusari Parishad Habibur Rahman Reezu, environmentalist Faridul Islam and others joined the party in the programme.

Organising secretary of Rastra Sanskar Andolan Imran Emon, central leaders Faridul Haque, Mahmud Jamal Kaderi, Sheikh Nasir Uddin and others spoke at the event.
