Leaders of the Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal-Jasod on Thursday at a protest rally in Dhaka demanded an immediate end to Israeli aggression in Gaza that killed 34,000 Palestinian people since October 7 last year.
Dhaka city units of the Jasod, a partner of the ruling Awami League-led alliance, held the rally in front of the party central office on Bangabandhu Avenue where Dhaka city south president Shafiuddin Molla chaired.
Shafiuddin Molla said that the Israeli army with the patronisation of the United States government was launching massive aggression in Gaza over several months and killed thousands of Palestinian people.
He called on the world community to stand by the innocent Palestinians and help them to establish their own independent state.
Central leaders of the party, Abdullahil Quayyum, Rokanuzzaman Rokan, Kazi Saimum Haque, Mofizur Rahman Babul and others spoke at the rally.
The rally was followed by a protest procession that paraded different city roads.
