The 5th death anniversary of former president and founder chairman of Jatiya Party Hussain Muhammad Ershad will be observed on Sunday.
JP and its associate organisations have taken elaborate programmes to observe the death anniversary.
As part of the programmes, JP and its associate bodies will place floral wreaths at the portrait of Hussain Muhammad Ershad at the party鈥檚 Kakrainl central office at 9:00am.
A dua mahfil and memorial meeting will be held at the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh at 3:00pm, said a party press release.
JP chairman and leader of the opposition in parliament GM Quader will chair the meeting while JP secretary general Md Mujibul Haque Chunnu and other central leaders will take part in the discussion.
All divisional, district, city, upazila, thana and union units of JP will separately organise discussion meetings, milad and dua mahfils in observance of the death anniversary of the party鈥檚 former chairman.
