
Left leaning political parties will hold countrywide mourning procession on Friday, commemorating the people and students, who were killed during the countrywide quota reform movement.
The parties will hold a mourning procession in front of the National Press Club in Dhaka at 3:00pm. Later, the programme will be observed nationwide.
Leaders and activists of Left Democratic Alliance, a combine of six political parties, Anti-fascism Left Alliance, a combine of seven parties, and Bangladesh Jasod will take part in the procession, a press release of LDA said on Thursday.
At least 209 students and people were killed as of Thursday night during the movement.
