
Leaders of the Left Democratic Alliance, a combine of six left political parties, on Wednesday at rally in Dhaka demanded the expulsion of Israel from United Nation for its atrocities in Palestine and Lebanon.
The Communist Party of Bangladesh president Mohammad Shah Alam said that for a long time, Israel had been committing barbaric attacks on the Palestinian people and killing the innocent people.
Recently, they have started attacks on Lebanon and killing the unarmed people, Shah Alam said, calling on the world community to be vocal against Israeli attacks and raise demand of expulsion of Israel from the United Nation.
Chaired by coordinator of the combine and the Socialist Party of Bangladesh general secretary Bazlur Rashid Firoz, leaders of the combine Iqbal Kabir Jahid, Musherfa Mishu, Masud Rana, among others, attended the rally in front of the National Press Club.
The rally was followed by a procession that ended at Puran Paltan crossing, parading different city roads.
