Chaired by a central leader of the party Zakia Shishir, Rashtra Sanskar Andolan, a partner of the Ganatantra Mancha, organised the rally in front of the National Press Club.

Chief coordinator of the party, Hasnat Quaiyum, said that the interim government had failed to control law and order situation of the country so that they should give next general elections as early as possible in a free, fair and credible manner.

‘The interim government has also failed to control corruptions in the country,’ he mentioned, adding that moreover, it had failed to arrest the allies of the fascist Awami League government and hold trials of them.

Hasnat Quaiyum also mentioned, ‘There is no alternative to holding next general election as early as possible and also holding constitution reform assembly election.’

Another central leader of the party, Didarul Bhuiyan, demanding the reform of the election commission, said that the undemocratic steps of the election commission taken during the fascist AL government should be stopped.

Zakia Shishir said that the interim government must take immediate steps to stop mob violence in the country.
