The Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal-JSD, a partner of the Ganatantra Mancha on Friday called on the interim government to announce a road map for carrying out reforms and a schedule for the next general election.
President of the party freedom fighter ASM Abdur Rob came up with the demand at a standing committee meeting of the party at his Uttara residence in the capital Dhaka.
He said that after July uprising the political parties should remain united in implementing the spirit of the student-led mass uprising.
He called on the interim government to announce a road map for implementing reforms of the constitution and the next general election for democratic transition of the country.
General secretary of the party, Shahid Uddin Mahmod Shapon, senior vice-president Tania Rob, standing committee members Sanwar Hossain Talukder, Mohammad Siraj Mia, KM聽 Jabir and others attended the meeting.
