The DSE Brokers Association of Bangladesh on Monday urged the Dhaka Stock Exchange board to resume activities soon.

The organisation issued a press release in this regard.

‘The Dhaka Stock Exchange has a major role as the primary regulator of the market activities. Initiation and implementation of important capital market activities require DSE board decisions,’ the press release said.

Due to a lack of board activities in the last one and a half months, no decision has been taken on important issues, it said.

‘The daily activities, overall development and progress of the market are facing disruptions. Also, decisions on other necessary issues are getting delayed due to this,’ the press release said.
