Theatre artiste Shimul Yousuf was named for Munier Choudhury Memorial Award and young theatre artiste Jahangir Alam with Mohammad Zakaria Memorial Award.
To mark the anniversary of birth of martyred intellectual Munier Choudhury, the announcement was made in a press statement on Wednesday.聽 Theatre troupe Theatre has been presenting Munier Choudhury Award annually to a senior artiste since 1989, while the Mohammad Zakaria Memorial Award, established in 1997, honours emerging theatre artiste.
