The 29th edition of the month-long Dhaka聽International Trade Fair-2025 will come to an end today.

Commerce adviser Sk Bashir Uddin is scheduled to attend at the closing聽ceremony while secretary (routine responsibilities) of the Ministry of聽Commerce Md Abdur Rahim Khan and administrator of the Federation of聽Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry Md Hafizur Rahman will聽be present as special guests.


Earlier, chief adviser Muhammad Yunus inaugurated the trade fair聽on January 1 at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Exhibition Centre in the聽capital鈥檚 Purbachal area.

Some 361 pavilions or stalls or restaurants of different categories have been聽allocated in favour of local producing and exporters firms, general business聽establishments and foreign business entities in a cent per cent transparent聽manner.

Besides, textiles, machineries, carpets, cosmetics and beauty aids,聽electrical and electronics, furniture, jute and jute products, household聽items, leather or artificial leather, leather products including shoes,聽sports goods, sanitary wares, toys, stationery, cookeries, plastics, melamine聽polymers, herbal, toiletries, imitation jewellery, processed food, fast food,聽handicrafts, home decor etc. are being displayed and sold at the fair.

Eleven foreign companies have set up their stalls to showcase their products聽and services, adding an international flavour to the fair, according to the聽officials.
