Lebanon鈥檚 state media on Sunday reported that two civilians were killed in an Israeli strike in the south of the country, as fighting between Israel and the powerful Shiite movement Hezbollah intensified.
鈥淭wo civilians were killed in an Israeli strike that targeted their home in the village of Houla,鈥� near the border, the National News Agency reported.
A local official told AFP that those killed were 鈥渢wo brothers, shepherds whose house was destroyed.鈥�
Israeli forces shot dead a Palestinian teenager in the occupied West Bank on Saturday, Palestinian news agency Wafa reported, as the army confirmed it had opened fire on two suspects.
Ashraf Hmedat, 15, was killed during an Israeli raid on the Aqabat Jabr refugee camp near Jericho, Wafa said.
At least 520 Palestinians have been killed in the West Bank and 451 people died in Lebanon in Israeli attacks since the Gaza war broke out.
