Members of the Border Guard Bangladesh seized 2.13 kilograms of crystal meth from Teknaf in Cox鈥檚 Bazar Saturday night.
Lieutenant Colonel Md Mahiuddin Ahmed, the commanding officer of the 2-BGB, confirmed this in a press release.
He said that on information that a shipment of drugs from Myanmar might come to Bangladesh by sea, the BGB members challenged a suspected person on the marine drive road at about 11:30pm on Saturday.
At one point, the person dropped a float and ran away.聽
Later, BGB members recovered 2.13 kilograms of crystal meth from inside the float.
The process of taking legal action is underway in this regard, said the official.
