Two people were killed and another was injured as their motorcycle hit a tree at village Parlakhshippur under Alamdanga upazila in Chuadanga early Sunday.
The accident occurred at about 2:30am.
The deceased are Khalid Hossain, 18, son of Sentu Mia of Borai village under Sadar upazila in Jhenaidah, and Tamim Hossain, 18, son of Ariful Islam of the same village. The injured youths is Sajib Ali, 19, son of Shariful Islam of Sindhuria village in Chuadanga Sadar upazila.
Alamdanga Police Station officer-in-charge Sheikh Gani Mia confirmed the matter.
Police and locals said that the three youths had gone to a concert in Kushtia at night.
While they were returning home, their motorcycle lost control and hit a tree in Parlakhshippur village. The accident left Khalid and Tamim dead on the spot and Sajib seriously injured.
The injured one was admitted to Chuadanga Sadar Hospital.
