Former Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry president Rashed Maksud Khan died on Saturday at the Combined Military Hospital, Dhaka while undergoing treatment.
He was 84.
His Namaz-e-Janazah was held on Sunday after Zuhur prayers at the Gulshan Society Mosque, Dhaka and later, he was buried at the Banani graveyard, the DCCI said in a press release.
Rashed served DCCI as its president in 1995 and 1998.聽
He was the founder of Bengal Fine Ceramics Limited.
