MA Baqui Khalily has been elected chairman of board audit committee of Bank Asia PLC, said a press release.
He is also serving as one of the independent directors of the bank.
He completed his BCom (honours) and MCom in finance from the University of Dhaka. He also obtained his MSc and PhD degrees with major in finance and development in 1987 and 1991 respectively from Ohio State University, USA.
