Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University vice-chancellor Deen Md Nurul Haque inaugurated an awareness procession brought out on the university campus on the occasion of World Thalassemia Day 2024.
The programme was held at the initiative of the Department of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology of the university on Wednesday, said a press release.
BSMMU vice-chancellor (administration) Professor Saif Uddin Ahmed, vice-chancellor (research and development) Professor Md Moniruzzaman Khan, vice-chancellor (academic) Professor Mohammad Atiqur Rahman, dean Professor Mohammad Ali Asgar Moral, dean Professor Debbrata Bonik, registrar professor ABM Abdul Hannan, proctor Professor Md Habibur Rahman Dulal and other teachers of pediatric hematology and oncology department, resident students were present.
