International Standard University vice-chancellor professor Abdul Awal Khan on Saturday paid tributes to the founding president of the country Sheikh Mujibur Rahman by placing wreath at his mausoleum at Tungipara in Gopalganj with special prayer.
Professor Abdul Awal Khan was associated with treasurer (in-charge) HTM Quader Newaz, registrar Md Faizullah Kaushik, teachers and other officials of ISU, said a press release.
Earlier, professor Khan joined as the VC of ISU. The official notification was issued on April 16 by the ministry of education. The order, in accordance with section 31(1) of the Private University Act, 2010, stated that with the approval of the president and chancellor, professor Abdul Awal Khan had been reappointed as ISU VC for four years.
