The School of Business and Economics of United International University organised a series programme titled 鈥楾he Challenge of Democratising of the Middle Income Dream鈥� as a part of Bangladesh Corpus: Public Lecture Series-2024 on the UIU Campus at United City in Dhaka on Sunday.
Hossain Zillur Rahman, executive chairman of Power and Participation Research Centre and former adviser to a caretaker government, was present as a keynote speaker, while Hasan Mahmood Raja, chairman of BoT of UIU and chief adviser of United Group, was present as a guest of honour in the programme, said a press release on Monday.
Professor Md Abul Kashem Mia, vice-chancellor of UIU, and professor Mohammad Musa, dean of the School of Business and Economics of UIU, were present in the programme.
Wahida Yasmeen, associate professor of the Department of Economics of UIU, delivered the vote of thanks.
Heads of different departments, faculty members, officials, students and other distinguished guests were present at the programme.
