The Rapid Action Battalion arrested a woman and seized 1,50,000 pieces of contraband Yaba pills from her in the Sabrang area of Teknaf in Cox鈥檚 Bazar on Monday afternoon.
The arrested is Nur Fatema, 26, wife of Abdul Amin from Shah Porir Dwip.
RAB-15 senior assistant director additional police superintendent Md Abu Salam Chowdhury said that on information, the law enforcers conducted a drive in the area yesterday evening and arrested the suspected drug peddler.
Meanwhile, 1.5 lakh yaba pills were recovered from her residence as per her information.
The arrested has been sent to the Teknaf police station along with the seized yaba pills, the RAB official added.
