The University Grants Commission instructed the authorities concerned of the organisation and educational institutions to prepare a list of services and upload them to the website of the institutions, and also display them in an open space.
UGC member professor Biswajit Chanda made the directive on Wednesday so that the service aspirants could get the services easily without any kind of suffering.
While speaking as a chief guest of the annual performance agreement for the financial year 2023-24 as a part of the training workshop on service commitment, the UGC member gave the instruction.
Md Abdul Alim, deputy director of finance and accounts of the commission, conducted the training workshop, while UGC secretary Ferdous Zaman presided over it.
Public relations and information rights department director Shamsul Arefin gave a welcome speech at the opening ceremony.
Biswajit Chanda said that every one of the commission should be sincere in providing quality service, mentioning that there was a need to change the mindset to provide services on time.
At least 36 officials from various departments of the UGC participated in the workshop.
