Bashundhara Kings have already won the league title for the fifth time in a row, leaving the two traditional giants, Abahani and Mohammedan, to compete for second place.
Kings earned an unassailable 40 points from 15 games to clinch the title after a 2-1 win over Mohammedan on May 11.
Following Friday鈥檚 games, third-placed Abahani matched second-placed Mohammedan on points, with both now having 29 points from 16 games; however, the latter led the table on goal difference.
Police Football Club were in fourth place with 22 points from 15 games.
