Pundra University of Science and Technology on Sunday felicitated students, who obtained GPA-5 from various colleges in Bogura district in the HSC examinations, held in 2023.

Vice-Chancellor of the university professor Chitta Ranjan Misra was the chief guest in the programme, said a press release.


Treasurer of the university professor Md Sujan Shah-E-Fazlul presided over the event, where deputy director (public relations and administration) Md Jahedul Alam delivered welcome speech.

Khalid Hasan, teacher of business administration department, moderated the ceremony, where chairman of the board of trustees and founder and executive director of TMSS professor Hosne-Ara Begum spoke as guest of honour. BOT advisor and emeritus professor M Afzal Hossain; and science and engineering faculty former dean and vice-chancellor of International Islamic University of Science and Technology Bangladesh professor Jakaria Ahmad also spoke, among others.

Pundra University’s humanities and social sciences faculty dean professor M Atar Ali, registrar (acting) Md Mohiuddin Mollah, TMSS consultant agriculturist Asadur Rahman, TMSS lifelong member advocate Maleka Parveen, Enamul Haque Art and Cultural Academy principal Abdul Hannan, BOT coordinator Md Khorshed Alam, director (finance) Abu Zahid Md Jaglul Pasha, adviser (student welfare) Md Nazmul Haque, teachers of various faculties, parents of GPA-5 achievers, and principals of colleges, among others, were present.
