
Filmmaker Sohel Arman is making preparations for making his next film based on an 1872 story revolving around the house of a zemindar.
He made the announcement about the film titled ‘Sangbad’ at a programme held in New Eskaton in Dhaka recently.
Sohel Arman told ¶¶Òõ¾«Æ· that the shooting of the film would begin in the first week of June.
‘The shooting of the first lot will continue from June 1 to June 13. We will try to release the film in cinemas in the next year,’ said Sohel Arman.
Produced under the banner of Voice Today, NA Khokon came up with the story of the film.
Speaking about the film, NA Khokon said at the programme, ‘I have produced and directed more than a hundred TV productions. I have confidence in Sohel Arman. Hopefully, the audience will get something good.’
The film will star Irfan Sajjad, Aisha Khan, Shohel Mondal, Salahuddin Lavlu, Sazzad Hossain Dodul, Kazi Khurshiduzzaman Upal, Tahmina Sultana Mou and Azam Khan.
Irfan Sajjad said, ‘I have always wanted people to know me through films. The story of the film is great. I have decided to work in the film after coming across my character.’
Aisha Khan is hopeful that the audience will not be disappointed after watching the film.
Shohel Mondol said, ‘I am working with Sohel Arman for the first time. After listening to the story, I felt the need to connect with it. I am very optimistic about the film.’
