Leaders of Ganatantra Mancha, a combine of six political parties, called on all opposition parties to wage movements to end the misrule of the Awami League government at a meeting on Friday.

The Mancha organised the Barishal divisional representatives meeting at Kirtankhola auditorium in the city, where Abdur Rashid Nilu, the coordinator of the party for Barishal division, chaired.


Revolutionary Workers Party of Bangladesh general secretary Saiful Huq urged all opposition political parties to mobilise against the government鈥檚 failures.

The central coordinator of the combine and chief coordinator of Ganosamhati Andolan, Zonayed Saki, said that the people were ready to participate in movements to end the Awami League government鈥檚 misrule.

Bhashani Onusari Parishad convener Sheikh Rafiqul Islam Bablu, Rastra Sanskar Andolan chief coordinator Hasnat Quaiyum, Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal-JSD general secretary Shahid Uddin Mahmud Shapon, Nagarik Oikya central leader Mohiduzzaman Mohid, and local leaders of the combine also spoke.
