
Six lakh and 70 thousands children will be provided vitamin A plus capsules at 1,827 centres of the Dhaka South City Corporation on June 1.
The campaign will start at 8:00am and will continue till 4:00pm, said the DSCC acting chief health officer Fazle Shamsul Kabir at an orientation programme titled National Vitamin A Plus Campaign-2024 held at Nagar Bhaban on Wednesday.聽
In total, 1,10,000 children aged between six to 11 months will receive a blue-coloured capsule, while 5,60,000 children aged 12 to 59 months will be given a red-coloured capsule.
The campaign will be facilitated by 3,654 volunteers and overseen by 150 supervisors.
