Rajshahi University authorities have decided to hold the admission tests for first-year undergraduate courses for the 2024-25 academic session at four regional centres in Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna, and Chattogram.

The decision was made at the academic council鈥檚 meeting held on Thursday evening, chaired by the university vice-chancellor professor Golam Sabbir Sattar.

RU pro-vice chancellor (administration) professor Sultan-ul-Islam stated that the decision to conduct entrance tests in four divisional cities aimed to ease the difficulties, faced by admission seekers.

He informed that RU authorities had also decided to enrol students from other public universities and affiliated colleges in its master鈥檚 courses through an admission test, subject to seat availability.

Currently, only regular students can enrol in the master鈥檚 (regular) courses, while others are allowed for evening courses.
