A total of 21 Hajj passengers were sent to Saudi Arabia for performing Hajj by Biman Bangladesh Airlines on Dhaka-Chittagong-Jeddah route on Wednesday on a special arrangement.
The departure of the 21 Hajj pilgrims became uncertain as no airlines agreed to transport the said Haj passengers due to the completion of the Hajj flights.
In this situation, Biman Bangladesh Airlines came forward. With the full cooperation of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport authority and with the special permission of Saudi Arabian authority, the said 21 Hajj passengers were transported on Biman鈥檚 scheduled flight.
The pre-Hajj flight operations of Biman Bangladesh Airlines ended on June 10, said a press release.
