Aziz Al Kaiser has been re-elected chairman and Hossain Khaled vice-chairman of City Bank as per an announcement by the bank鈥檚 board of directors, said a press release.
Aziz Al Kaiser, a founding director of City Bank, first took on the role of chairman in 2007. He is also a director at Partex Star Group and chairman and managing director of several of its entities.
He has been pivotal in the creation of the City Bank鈥檚 subsidiaries, including City Brokerage, City Bank Capital Resources, CBL Money Transfer Sdn Bhd in Malaysia and City Hong Kong Ltd, the release said.
Hossain Khaled, a sponsor director of City Bank, is an alumnus of University of Toledo, Ohio, where he earned his BBA in accounting, and of Texas A&M University, Texas, USA, where he completed his MBA in international banking.
He also served as president of the Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry and co-chairman of the Bangladesh Better Business Forum.
