Mohd Safwan Choudhury has been re-elected vice-chairman of Bank Asia PLC during the bank鈥檚 board meeting held on June 23, said a press release.
He is a former president of Sylhet Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He is also managing director of M Ahmed Tea and Lands Co Ltd, Phulbari Tea Estates Ltd, M Ahmed Cold Storage Ltd, Premier Dyeing and Calendaring Ltd and M Ahmed Food and Spices Ltd.
He also served as chairman of the Bangladesh Tea Association.
