
The High Court on Thursday allowed 148 students of Chattogram Islamia College to sit for the Higher Secondary School鈥檚 examination scheduled to be held on June 30.
The vacation bench of Justice Farah Mahbub and Justice Md Atabullah issued the order after hearing a writ petition filed by the students.
The court also asked the Chattogram education board to issue admit cards on special arrangement to enable the students in participating in the examinations.
According to the students, the education board denied issuing their admit cards on the ground that they have due of fees.
The students, however, said that they later paid the outstanding dues to the college authority, which did not communicate with the board officials causing the defaulters.
