The new chairman of the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh, air commodore Sadiqur Rahman Chowdhury, will take over the position on Sunday, according to the officials.
Sadiqur will succeed air vice marshal M Mafidur Rahman, according to a circular issued by the public administration ministry on Thursday.
In a message, sent to the press, the outgoing chairman Mafidur Rahman said that he would go on post retirement leave on Sunday.
