Daffodil International University has recently signed an agreement of cooperation to promote academic and cultural exchanges with India’s JIS University.

The agreement was signed by board of trustee chairman at Daffodil International University Md Sabur Khan and JIS University chancellor Sardar Taranjit Singh in Kolkata, India on June 29, said a press release issued on Monday. 


JIS University Kolkata hosted its 4th Convocation on June 29, 2024, celebrating academic excellence and the remarkable achievements of its students.

Sabur Khan attended the ceremony as guest of honour.

He delivered a speech emphasising the importance of lifelong learning, adaptability, innovation, ethical responsibility, global citizenship, digital proficiency, networking, and maintaining a balance for a successful and fulfilling life.

Sabur Khan also expressed his enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating, ‘This partnership will pave the way for joint research projects, student and faculty exchanges, and numerous other collaborative initiatives that will enhance the educational experiences and opportunities at both institutions.’
