The delegation level bilateral meeting between Bangladesh and China started at 11:10am (local time) on Wednesday at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.
Prime minister Sheikh Hasina is leading the Bangladesh delegation, while Chinese prime minister Li Qiang is leading the Chinese team in the meeting.
Some 20 MoUs will be signed and renewed between Dhaka and Beijing in presence of true prime ministers after the bilateral meeting.
Then PM Sheikh Hasina will join a welcome banquet (lunch) to be hosted by the Chinese prime minister at the same venue.
Earlier on her arrival at the Great Hall of the People, Sheikh Hasina was received by Chinese prime minister Li Qiang and was given a warm reception.
In the afternoon, the PM will have a meeting with Chinese president Xi Jingping at the same venue.
On Monday last, the Bangladesh prime minister arrived here in Beijing on a bilateral visit to China at the invitation of her Chinese counterpart Li Qiang.
Sheikh Hasina will leave Beijing for home at 10:00pm on Wednesday by a special flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines and is scheduled to reach Dhaka after midnight.
