The Manarat International University鈥檚 summer semester鈥檚 freshers reception and scholarship award ceremony were held at the Dhaka North City Corporation building auditorium at Gulshan in Dhaka on Saturday.
Jagannath University vice-chancellor professor Sadeka Halim was present as a chief guest at the event, while Manarat International University vice-chancellor (acting) professor Muhammad Abdus Sabur Khan and board of trustee member Israt Jahan Nasreen were present as special guests, said a press release on Sunday.
University registrar Md Moazzam Hossain, the dean of the School of Engineering, Science and Technology Nargis Sultana Chowdhury, the dean of the School of Arts and Humanities Mohammad Obaidullah, the dean of the School of Business and Economics Md Mahbub Alam, English department head Ahmad Mahbub-ul-Alam, law department head Mohammad Azharul Islam, EEE department head KM Aktaruzzaman, journalism and media studies department head Md Mamun Uddin and Centre of General Education director Mohammad Abul Kalam Azad were present, among others, at the programme.
Pharmacy department lecturer Md Abdur Rahman and law department lecturer Sumaiya Islam conducted the event.
