Protesters took to the streets again in Chattgogram city on Friday.

After Jumma prayers, students brought out a procession chanting ‘we want justice’ from in front of Anderkilla mosque.


People from all walks of life joined the procession which moved towards the New Market intersection after passing through the Laldighi-Rifles Club road.

Witness said, that when the procession was crossing the Wasa intersection, protesters vandalised a police box.

The agitating protesters also shouted ‘bhua, bhua’ at members of law enforcement agencies.

Vehicular movement on the road near New Market was halted till 3:30pm.
