A Bangladeshi youth was seriously injured in shooting by the Indian Border Security Force on Baliadangi border in Thakurgaon on Saturday.

The injured is Naimur Rahman Naim, 22, a resident of Kalibari village under Amzankhor union of Baliadangi upazila.


Confirming the matter, Baliadangi upazila nirbahi officer Mohammed Arafat Hossain told 抖阴精品 that Naimur was undergoing treatment now and nothing serious had happened.

The incident occurred at about 10:30am in the 383/2 S Main Pillar area of the Kotapara border of Baliadangi upazila.

Naim鈥檚 uncle Alamgir said that they went to cut grass for their cattle on their agricultural land in the area when BSF personnel from the Velagachi camp on the Indian side opened fire, leaving Naim injured in the right leg.

Alamgir then took him (Naim) to Baliadangi Upazila Health Complex.

Naim was later referred to Thakurgaon District Hospital for better treatment, said Alamgir, Naim鈥檚 uncle.
