The board of trustees of the Manarat International University exchanged views with the teachers and officials of the university at its Seminar Hall at Ashulia in Dhaka on Saturday.

The chairman of the board of trustees of the university, former secretary Muhammad Fazlur Rahman, presided over it.


Among other, members of the BoT, former secretary Muhammad Ismail Hossain, former professor of Dhaka University ATM Fazlul Haque, Professor Mozammel Haque, Enamul Haque Chowdhury, former vice-chancellor of the MIU Professor M Umar Ali attended the meeting.

At the beginning of the programme, a prayers session was held for the martyrs of the students’ movement for quota reform in the government jobs.

Muhammad Fazlur Rahman prayed for the eternal peace of the martyrs and the recovery of the injured in the movement.

Mentioning that the members of the board of trustees of the university are trying to overcome all kinds of crises to make the MIU the best university in the country, he announced that the current problems of the university would be identified and solved on a priority basis.

He also urged the teachers to ensure quality education by holding the motto of the university ‘A Centre of Academic and Moral Excellence’ and said, ‘We want to build the students of the Manarat in such a way that people can understand that they are our students.’
