
The line director at the Department of Non communicable Disease Control Programme of the Directorate General of Health Service, Professor Mohammad Robed Amin, has been made the acting director general of the DGHS.
The health service division in a gazette notification on Sunday appointed him for the post, which will be in effect soon.
Robed, an officer on special duty, was replaced in the chair of the DGHS director general Abul Bashar Mohammad Khurshid Alam.
The government terminated the contractual appointment of ABM Khurshid Alam.
