Former secretary to the Government of Bangladesh and adviser to the caretaker government Abdul Muyeed Chowdhury has been appointed as new chairman of the board of directors of the Biman Bangladesh Airlines Limited.
In this regard, the civil aviation and tourism ministry issued a gazette notification on Sunday.
Abdul Muyeed Chowdhury served as secretary to the Government of Bangladesh in various ministries. He also served as managing director and chief executive officer of Biman Bangladesh Airlines from 1991 to 1994, said the press release.
