Abdul Awal Mintoo has been elected chairman of National Bank Limited during the bank鈥檚 505th board meeting held on Thursday, said a press release.
He is also a sponsor director of the bank.
In the meeting, Moazzam Hossain, a sponsor director of NBL, was elected vice-chairman of the bank.
Abdul Awal Mintoo is a former president of the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry. He serves as chairman of Lal Teer Seed Limited, North South Seed Limited and Pragati Life Insurance Limited.
Moazzam Hossain is a former chairman of National Bank. He is founder of Hosaf Group of Companies and currently serving as its chairman.聽
