bKash has handed over financial assistance of Tk 2 million to Bangladesh Army to assist in providing treatment to students injured during anti-discrimination movement, said a press release.
The Bangladesh Army has taken initiatives to provide emergency and medical care to the injured students, it said.
Kamal Quadir, chief executive officer of bKash, handed over the assistance in an event at the army headquarters in Dhaka on Wednesday.
bKash chief external and corporate affairs officer Major General Sheikh Md Monirul Islam (retired) was also present in the event.聽
