A Rohingya youth was allegedly shot dead by unidentified miscreants in an Ukhia Rohingya camp in Cox鈥檚 Bazar early Friday.
The incident took place at B-6 Block of Rohingya Camp 4 (Extension).
The deceased is Md Ismail, 38, son of Elias of the camp.
Officer-in-charge of Ukhia police station聽Md Shamim Hossain confirmed the news to 抖阴精品.聽
He said that a group of 8-10 members of an armed聽 group allegedly entered Ismail鈥檚 house.
At one stage, the attackers shot at Ismail and ran away.
Later, he was rescued in a critical condition and taken to a hospital near the camp where the doctor on duty declared him dead, the OC said.
鈥楾he body has been sent to Cox鈥檚 Bazar Sadar Hospital for autopsy. Legal action in this regard is underway,鈥� added the official.
