
The Independent University, Bangladesh 10 students have earned spots in the Millennium Fellowship programme, said a press release on Thursday.
The fellowship is a semester-long leadership accelerator enabled by collaboration between the United Nations Academic Impact and the Millennium Campus Network.
These students are set to focus on diverse areas such as public health, environmental sustainability, and youth development.
The IUB students underwent a rigorous selection process, including multiple evaluation rounds and interviews. Over the next four months, they will actively participate in projects aimed at addressing diverse challenges across sectors such as public health, environmental sustainability, social enterprise, and youth development.
The IUB team for Millennium Fellowship 2024 includes two campus directors – Saptarshi Paul and Md Shohayeb Hossain Saif.
The eight fellows from various departments are Wakil Abdullah, Raiyan Ahmed, Sanjana Binte Alam Rodosi, Mursalina Hassan, Iqram Hossain Mahboob, Anisa Mumtahina Dewan, Yazdi Zaman and Allin Mohana Biswas.
