
Dhaka Community Hospital Trust, Community Initiative Society and Dhaka Community Medical College have stood by people of the flood-affected areas in Cumilla, Feni, Noakhali and Habiganj.
More than 700 mobile medical teams are working in the deadly floods and provided assistance including dry food, safe drinking water, oral rehydration saline, water purification tablets, candles, lighters and some necessary emergency medications, said a press release issued on Tuesday.
They reached some 500 families and committed to support the victims until situation gets better, said the release.
The volunteers also actively participated in rescue and transport locals stranded in flood-affected areas to safe rescue centres.
